Submit a sitemap
A sitemap hands us the full list of pages you want indexed — the fastest way to get crawled completely.
Why a sitemap matters
A sitemap is a file that lists the URLs on your site. Submitting it tells CGM Search exactly which pages exist, so we don't have to discover them one link at a time. It's the single fastest way to get your whole site into the index.
How to submit
Most platforms generate a sitemap automatically (often at /sitemap.xml). Paste its URL into your site's dashboard. We'll fetch it, queue every URL, and crawl them in batches.
- •Submit your sitemap index if you have multiple sitemaps.
- •Keep it current — re-submit or update it when you add sections.
Tip: After submitting, check your coverage in the dashboard. Pages move from Pending to Indexed (or Error) as we crawl them.
